B2C Jewels Grading System
Carat
Across global markets, diamond prices are always stated in terms of per carat rate. Since a diamond is a costly commodity a mere fluctuation of 1 or 2 cents in the weight causes price fluctuation, particularly in bigger sizes (i.e. above 1 carat).
A clear and transparent price of an individual diamond can be derived by specifying a weight up to the third decimal. Price difference, when measured after factoring the third digit of a cent, contributes to accuracy in pricing. The measurement of the third digit eliminates the possibility of rounding off any fraction.
Due to our accurate and precision oriented approach, the weight of our every diamond is measured till the third decimal place, e.g., 1.009 Cts, instead of the conventional mode of stating it till the second decimal place.
